Wings SC recognizes the value of the teams managers. They are extremely valuable to the success and organization of each team. These are the volunteers who step up and ensure that each team is ready for the season, ready for the game and is the main artery in which Wings SC communicates all of the important information to the membership.

Managers checklist

Collect documents from each parent:

• Emergency Medical Consent - only needs notarizing if traveling out of state (unless your individual team requires it)
• Wings Liability
• Birth Certificate (copy)  
• picture

Confirm everyone has ordered uniforms (or already has one).

Discuss Tournaments with the team families and coach:

• How many
• How far to travel
• Estimate cost

Discuss estimated budget dependant on tournaments, additional training added:

Discuss any schedule conflicts families may have with scheduled play nights (choir concerts, graduations, school activities) and with the tournaments:   

• Give the coach the conflicting days prior to March (they bring these days to the discrict committee meetings for re-scheduling tentative game schedules)

Collect team fees

• These are the fees that cover the tournaments, additional training times added for the individual teams

Team Training sessions begin normally in January:

• Remind families of schedule

Register for Tournaments:

• Boys or Girls, age level and classification

• Complete form
• Send in registration fee

Confirm coach is attending Statewide mandatory coaches meetings held by District to recieve:

• Game schedules
• Game locations
• Telephony instructions to call in scores 
• MYSA forms (red card and reschedules)

Player Passes arrive the end of April:

• Add picture to pass
• Have player sign
•  Laminate before first game
• Create Match Lineup Report & make multiple copies

Bring to games and give to ref prior to the beginning of each game:

• Player Passes
• Referee Match Line-up Report 
• Bring envelope with MYSA label (for Home games only)

After each game: 

• Call in scores
